Christmas Spider
When Father Christmas arrived at the home of an old woman, he felt happiness and delight of spiders on her old dusty Christmas tree. In order to bring joy to her home, he reached out and gently touched the fine strands of grey webs and turned them into glistening strands of gold and silver reflecting the warmth of the spiders’ like tiny jewels. And so began the custom of adoring the tree with bejeweled spiders full of richly colored ornamental beads.
